Hi, my name is Nick Cahill and I’m a commercial and freelance photographer based out of St. Petersburg, Florida. For the past seven years, I’ve strived to refine my skills and perfect my work. I work diligently to ensure that my end product is the best it can be. I’ve always been a perfectionist about everything I do, and this has definitely carried over into my work. From shooting wildlife to cars to people, creating a story and displaying emotion has always been at the forefront of my mind. So glad I got to go visit the new Hollywood Studios and the Star Wars area. I shot through several rolls of film on the Bronica. All the black and white photos were shot on @ilfordphoto HP5, my favorite b&w film. ________________________________
More shots from the Grand Prix on Portra 400 converted to b&w. I wanted to slow the shutter slightly to give the effect of speed with the blurred cars, but I didn’t really have to slow it that much with how fast the GT3’s were. _____
I shot a roll and a half at the St. Pete Grand Prix on the good ole AE-1. I wasn’t really too thrilled with the vantage points to see the event, and the photos came out ok. I committed a sin and converted these portra scans to b&w...father
Such a beautiful car. I wanted to capture a lot of motion and the idea of speed with these. I shot the car at probably 1/20th of a second and panned as @spdracer___ would drive past me. Really happy with these as well. _____________________________
Lemme just start by saying...I love film. I love how the other shots that I took on digital came out but I absolutely love the colors that portra produces. It took a couple weeks for me to get these sent out and returned but I couldn’t be happi
